What kinda trial is "silencing a stn" like that's just counterintuitive of what was probably supposed to be achieved, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack 🤣
But in silent airports they even message the gate number and also if gate is changed.
Sending max 180 msgs at a time is ok.. but sending platform msgs to all the passengers means 1000+ which isn’t practical especially by IRCTC. So that silent railway station move can’t be a good option for such busy station.
Gandhinagar capital is also a silent station, but managing 5-6 trains a day is different thing..

It's not about sending messages wil the travveller be able to read messages after he alights at Rly Stn with his baggage or the one who comes to pickup a traveller from platform, how many travellers are aware of train numbers, there lot more of GS and SL passengers who cannot read messages from rural areas now just say we are converting ICF to LHB with only AC coaches no problem.
