Sad part is there is no buffer time left at ROK to demand extension to Jind jn.

yes you are right too but rohtak MP need publicity of his work before coming election!
Most people traveling in group to religious places like Khattu shayam ji will prefer a direct train even if its passenger train and take more time than changing train at RE.
Sabarmati express is a express train with just 2-4 general coach.
