It's look like land is available there, so IR can plan this and run trains like which present in MG era. It will surely benefit for everyone.
no no. MG era mei loop tha due to which reversal was not required. PFA
I didn't know this. Trains stop there long time so I assume there are LR by looking scenario after BG conversion, thanks for this info. But looking map of today this loop land has been encroached and there are no free space available. Sad reality.
During British Era,
Initially Bareilly to Mathura straight route existed (without reversal @ KSJ) but trains for CNB has to take reversal.
however later on loop was made, and hence trains to CNB were able to proceed without reversal but trains to MTJ had to take reversal now.

Only BG tracks have to be laid down, land of ruined lines is still available. After loop re-construction, might be beneficial for railway to run more trains passing through this section.
