Parking/ Yard is equidistant from both NDLS and DLI, there is interlocking and same lines go to both DLI and NDLS from Sadar Bazar side. Old Delhi is anyhow better than NDLS in services and much better connected with Chandni Chowk area. So all these trains can easily be pushed to DLI.

As far as South is concerned all the South Rajdhani trains are starting from NZM only. And also other premium trains like Duronto, GR, etc. except DEE YPR Duronto.

I seriously don't understand how DLI is better than NDLS in services? Yes it surely is much better connected to Chandni Chowk area but how many of Rajdhani passengers do you think are travelling to visit chandni chowk? Not to forget that NDLS is also directly connected to Airport through Metro. Plus all the major central govt offices are closer to NDLS, which actually matter to VIPs travelling by Rajdhani/Shatabdi. NDLS also is cleaner and has better amenities in my opinion compared to DLI. Plus how are you even freeing up space at NDLS if the same yard space is being occupied by the trains shifted to DLI? What would be the use of just freeing up Pfs if trains don't have any space to be parked. You can introduce new VBs from DLI, ANVT, NZM, DEE but the current lot of Rajdhanis at NDLS are not going anywhere.

because NDLS is better connected with two metros ..right at the business center of the city and has better road access from two main roads...
DLI is OK ! but it is difficult to reach DLI from west , South and South east / western suburbs due to congested roads at Chandani Chowk area !!!
