Gosh, now i dont wonder why is Indian Railways running under losses and i dont even care about it any more. I guess IR is full of stupid decision makers because of whom the efforts of our great engineers, techical workers and other employees efforts are going waste. If all about "Amrit Bharat" train is just this, why to even invest in making these trains with push pull locomotives and latest technology ? Old 90's ICF rake with a rusted electrical locomotive can serve the purose, no extra cost, easily railways would have made profits. This is such a waste of resources to go into more and more losses. more... train can connect major railway stations/junctions on its route as the train doesn't need loco reversal it need not skip big junctions and with great acceleration and deceleration it can be given faster schedule (atleast 65+ avg speed) with many halts enroute. Connecting big stations on single run will attract intermediate travellers this will generate revenue. For example if Malda Town - SMVT AB is started from Guwahati to Bengaluru connecting Howrah/Santragachi with more speed up, would attract much crowd. Fare can also be increased a bit more..i only wish that after launching few more ABs railways realise that its gonna be a loss and dont scrap up the concept itself. With certain changes ABs can do great for travellers as well as railways.

An old rusty 90s ICF train with an electrical locomotive would do the job without any extra cost, and the railways would actually make some damn profits. If the damn train can connect major railway stations/junctions without reversing the damn engine, they can avoid skipping the big junctions and use their acceleration and deceleration skills to have a faster schedule (at least an average speed of 65+). Plus, if they stop at many stations along the way and connect big stations on a single run, they'll attract more intermediate travelers and make some money. For example, if they start the Malda Town - SMVT AB train from Guwahati to Bengaluru, connecting Howrah/Santragachi with faster speeds, they'll get a hell lot of passengers.
