I'm going to Mumbai with my family (total 6 PAX). The on-line booking agent says that seat # will not be known (this is known at train stations only). As I'm travelling with kids, how can I be assured that I'm at the same compartment with family. Is there any way out that I know my seat nos. in advance?! I'm planning to travel by AC 2 tier.

If its WL (Waiting) Ticket or 1 AC Ticket (WL or Confirm), then only u will not be aware of seat no.
For Confirm 2A/3A/SL/2S/CC/1ACC Ticket, Berth/Coach No. will be printed on Ticket!!
