if i booked ticket from Mumbai central & boarding at BCT & i travel from Borivali , it is possible can TC allotted ticket to another person?

Its all a matter of luck. He may or may not allot it on such a short distance. But better to be on the safe side and change the boarding point.
No he wont allot to any1 til next stn. Borivali is near by stn no problm
why to take chance... you will lose your seat as well as money. better change the boarding point to Borvali. its very easy and within the rules.
i always book a ticket from ltt and I always board in from thane or kalyan there isn't a long distance so u can do it without any change
I am 100% sure if u ll go for bp change they ll suggest same.
