I actually had 3 queries if anyone would oblige...
1. I was wondering if shatabdi has like an emergency berth in any coach in case anyone falls sick or somethng and needs to lie down?
2. Also in the mysore - to - chn shatabdi is lunch served?

1. No emergency berth exists as of now-but looks a good sugestion to railways to meet emergencies-however crew will eb having 1st aid box to tackle emergency
2. lunch is served when train goes to mysore and not in the return-return journey has snacks and dinner being served

2. I wonder about Lunch Option not available, as MYS-SBC is 275, while SBC-MYS 305 (with Lunch Option)

Dear Sir,
With due respect, IR has sarted medical facility options where doctors will be travelling with passengers, carrying very vital life support systems/saving drugs & berth 1 & 3 in AC Coaches 2 & 3 A will be converted to medical bays.
Also as far as my knwledge goes some trains including Yesvantpur -Hwh Express & few others already have the facility & it will be introduced on many other long distance trains very soon including Duronto & Rajdhani.
