This is the only train connecting AP capital to Kerala capital for so many years.why SCR is not introducing another train, If SCR feels that another train doesn't get patronization in the same route, It can be introduced like this

1450Kms where as the current route is 1570 kms.Hyderabad-Bangalore-Coimbatore-Ernakulam-Trivandrum Connectivity.
2) Another 3 days via Kurnool,Gooty,Renigunta,Chennai Egmore,Villupuram,Tiruchy,Madurai,Tirunelveli,Nagercoil totalling to a distance of 1560 kms.Hyderabad-Renigunta-Chennai-Tiruchy-Madurai-Trivandrum Connectivity.
Route wise the 2 routes are some what lesser than the current one. Instead of Madurai-kacheguda, Yesvatpur-Secunderabad triweekly which are proposed in the budget this one is very useful for people of AP,KA,TN.KL.
