I agree, not only 3A, the railways should attach some 2A coaches also to make it a proper and regular superfast express. The only question is whether the single existing platform at Haldia (HLZ) can accommodate that much long rake or not. Already this train is 15 coaches long. Any member from Haldia can clarify it. I have a doubt how the railways are doing the rake cleaning and maintenance also. There was no concept of "yard" there at Haldia, so far I have seen it 2 years back. There are many things to do, increase the platform length, make some pit/side lines, make proper arrangements for rake cleaning etc etc.
ya you are right
the hlz-mas is not cleaned and the water refilling is done at kgp while returning to hlz. The loco is also changed in KGP while returning to HLZ.
One coach remains outside the platform of HLZ MAS exp.
I dont know why they do not combine platform 1 & 1A together.

Yaah absolutely. The platform 1A at Haldia is too small to accommodate a medium size rake like this. Probably that has been built up for the 9 coach EMU rakes. Thank God, the water filling part is done at KGP. Because none of PKU, TMZ and HLZ have water filling facility after KGP. But one thing I didn't get, why the question is coming regarding loco change at KGP? Almost all the times I have noticed MAS-HLZ express with loco from the south like ED WAP 4, AJJ WAP 1, AJJ WAM 4 in between TMZ and HLZ. By the way, thanks a lot for the information.
