This train should be converted into superfast with an AC 2 tier cum AC 3 tier or with an AC 3 tier coach added.
The following stoppages can be removed: NNA, MNE, MOG, SPP, MNO, DES, SEE, BTT.
Stoppage durations should be reduced at RNY, NBQ, NOQ, NCB, DQG, KNE, KIR, BJU, CPR, SV, GKP, BE and MB.
The train should be extended upto

Dibrugargh and if the deperature time is fixed at 06:45 and assuming 11Hr 5mins DBRG GHY travel time, the train can leave GHY at 18:00. Since, the train gets converted to Superfast, the timings would closely come to the present one by the time the train reaches Hajipur. The travel time would reduce Hajipur onwards as the train is converted to superfast.
In the North the train should be extended upto Udhampur also.
If any Rail Ministry official is reading this, he should take note of my suggestion. Comments are also expected from other readers and forum members.

Joydeep Ji,
Thanks for your sugession.
The sugession I have given is for the present rail network in Assam. However, after completion of RNY MZS Gauge conversion, I would not suggest the diversion. Passengers from the North Bank could catch the train from RNY or DBRG (DBRG will be connected after completion of Bogibeel Bridge). An early morning passenger train should provided between NLP& DBRG and an intercity between DBRG and RNY/DBB via North Bank of Brahmaputra. The passenger train would be very beneficial for the local passengers also and the intercity would

not only help the passengers of this train, but, also, other long distance trains and other local passengers.
Similar arrengements can be made for reverse journey.
Also, this train (15651&15652 Lohit Exp. not Amarnath Exp.) should be provided atleast thrice a week.
Waiting for your and others reply and sugessions.
Tushar Mukherjee.
