Dear members! why does SR doesnt have a Rajdhani of its own..?? SWR has its own Rajdhani..?? comments...pls

usuallly all raj belongs to NR. now new rajs are given to zone. since sr only raj is aold one it is under nr.
At present there are 18 Zones of IR,
and only 6 zones allotted these trains for operations of 42 Rajdhanis...
It is just administrative convenience.
Ultimate ownership/responsibility is of IR.

SWR Raj was also with NR.. It's handed over to SWR in September 2012 after it was provided with LHB rakes..
earlier only HWH, SDAH, PNBE raj were with ER and BCT, August Kranti Raj, ADI Raj were with WR. Later PNBE Raj went with ECR after ECR was carved out of ER.
Rest all Rajdhanis were with NR.
Last year SBC Rajdhani was transferred to SWR and BBS Rajdhani was transferred to ECoR two years back.
