In the past, Patna-Howrah Shatabdi Express was scrapped and converted to today's Patna-Howrah Jan Shatabdi because of less popularity among travellers..It was a white elephant..Also 2063/4 Patna-Katihar Jan Shatabdi was scrapped and converted to today's Intercity Express for the same reasons..Also the demand of Patna-Ranchi Shatabdi went for a toss..But now a days plenty of white elephants are running freely like this train..IR should run this duronto between Patna-New Delhi or Patna-CSTM..No doubt it will be a huge hit..
Patna-Howrah Shatabdi Express was flagged off on November 12,2001by Mr. Nitish Kumar and was scrapped probably after 15 months..

Yes Patna-Mumbai Duronto will be a huge hit but not complete A.C.,it should have Sleeper coaches too and 7-8 AC Coaches..
