WDP-4 is 4000hp rated while WDP-4B/D are 4500hp..WDM-3D is 3300hp rated,so with twin wdm's a total of 6600hp is hauling the train..more power and more axles..
some time back when this topic was discussed somebody had said about the prestige of d loco shed coming to play. ...I am unsure about its relevance here
of course!! as i mentioned before, new things are quite better than the older ones.
The diesel loco link of this train is with MLY which is in queue for WDP-4/4B/4D locos.Once they arrive and MLY settles down with them,this train's link might upgrade.
