does the use of front panto or rear panto depends on direction of moving train?

Check out wcam2p/3. Due to AC/DC loco, u will find many times front panto up.
This is panto (short form for pantograph).
A pantograph is an apparatus mounted on the roof of an electric train or tram to collect power through contact with an overhead wire.
