why some trains are hauled by 2 locos on regular basis??(like karnataka exp, mumbai howrah mail via allahabad).only one(WDP4 or even WDM3A) is sufficient as the trains have avg speed of only 60 kmph or less, its waste of fuel an power.. any different views???

Acceleration could be the criterion, bcz these train have much stoppages and acceration required after that.
