Very sad news. Reminded of the day when the life of one ardent railfan from Jabalpur was cut short in the prime of youth.
R.V. Abdul Hathy Basha, 59, a railway deputy chief ticket inspector, died after he reportedly fell from the Delhi-bound Tamil Nadu express near Bitragunta in Nellore district around 2 a.m. on Friday. The body of Basha, who was attached to Chennai railway headquarters, was found on the track between Alluru Road and Bitragunta railway stations. Railway CI M. Vijay Kumar was investigating the case. Basha fell from S-8 coach and the train stopped at a distance of one-and-a-half k.m. after someone pulled the chain.
