LUCKNOW: Advance reservation period of 120 days for railway ticket came into effect on Wednesday. Passengers lined up at the counters to get the reservation done....
Had a visit at station to see what difference it has made to travellers...
all very smiling that they get berths even if its WL ...

Deccan Herald from Bengaluru reports today that a record 13 lakh tickets were booked on 1st April 2015 when 120 day ARP started. In fact i also booked 2 tickets thro IRCTC website.
