Poor Policy. Railways going to wrong path.
It should be either 5-10 % Fare Hike.
They are doing fare hike because some shatabdis Rajdhanis, Dorontos going into Losses.

It will be big blow for MAS-SBS and MYS shatabdi.. Now higher price means, people might opt for flight, or as they mentioned, buses. Buses now days provide more facilities than shatbdi coaches with seat back tv with head set, comfortable seats..
I agree. Some of the multi-axle Volvo buses are taking just 5 to 6 hours from MAS-SBC and vice versa and provide TV,water with ultra modern seats which are better than Shatabdi. Rlys may not get the anticipated revenue with the hike coming into force from 9/9/16
