It has not moved at all since 15 days. What is the next option. If I try and get tatkal, is there provision to cancel the ticket after coming to Bangalore i.e., on 5th November 2013. If so, how much I will be loosing,

This has not moved for the last 15 days. This shows the demand for tickets on this route. The railways like State Transport (KSRTC) should provide additional coaches whenever the waiting list reaches some point to enable all the passengers to travel in sleeper class. I suffered a lot yesterday while coming from Sagar by Talaguppa Bangalore Express as my tickets were not confirmed and I was made to share my berth with another passenger. We both were at inconvenience. Railways should make some arrangements like attaching extra coaches during festival/holidays seasons.

My waiting list number for the journey on 04/11/2013 is 20/21. But, when I checked the 2 months availability calendar, 95 berth is available for that day. Then why I cannot be allotted a berth, is it because it is Karwar quota and I have booked my ticket from Suratkal. Someone please clarify.

I cancelled the tickets booked from Suratkal and instead booked tickets from Udupi (where berth were available) with boarding at Suratkal which gave me peace of mind and also not trying for tatkal.
