I feel that if doubling is also carried out, it will be more beneficial rather than only electrification. Crossings take a lot of time and due to speed limitations trains take quite some time from station to another. Best example being Bypl to Carmelaram which takes almost 15-20 minutes. So doubling would be the best way along with electrification
As said like Mr Sachin it might be Navalur or Navalgund Road but Navalur is not 30km from hubli or if they consider TKM then its 30km upto navalur as doubled line 15+15. If such they should have mentioned Hospet-Gadag as 85+85 TKM but only RKM 85km they mentioned for RE.
