Train Travel Tips
Charging sockets were present in Some SL coaches (In my journey, S3-S4-S5-S6-S7-S8 coaches) had Charging sockets near every seat. Rest all SL coaches had two charging sockets each near the Door.
But do keep in mind, the charging sockets near the seats were of 500mA rating. So do check out before using your Mobile charger.
Many people were suffering problem due to Higher Ampere Rating of their Mobile Chargers. And using laptop charger in these sockets is not possible.

Words cannot describe the excellent service this train provides to its travellers.
Food - Pretty tasty food, packed in an hygienic manner (as per IR standards). But above all the food provided is wholesome. Non Veg Lunch in AC 2 Tier included the following :
Chicken Curry (Tasty gravy and 2 big pieces of chicken), Aloo Curry, Dal (Again, found it pretty nice) Rice, Paranthas, Pickle and Curd.

Same have felt in SL class also.
Very very Safe and No Disturbances at all. Very Rarely saw any Unreserved traveller.
I don't know about others but i really loved the Hot big Samosas of this Pantry.

Due to less no of halts, this is the best train to travel in SL from Mumbai to Howrah and back. No unruly passengers indeed !!
Still average speed should be much more as Mumbai mail with three times more stoppages is very close with miniscule difference.
You can call that 'Slack'.. I agree the averages can be boosted to 66-67 km/h easily. Still it is a wonderful train to travel in. Wont disappoint you !
Yesterday travelled between ngp - bsp. 3A coach was up to the mark in cleanliness. . bed sheets were clean. Toilet was clean had odonil in it. Toilet fan was working fine and train was punctual as usual. Reached bsp bang on 16:15

Catering is done by Meals On Wheels.
Food is tasty (I felt the Cooks were South Indian as the Dal and Sabji were giving me the South Indian Masala taste).

bcoz always they charged more money for food they provide Rs.120 Veg meal Rs.130 For Egg Meal & Rs.150 for Fish or Chicken meal
recently my family travel from Ltt to hwh by 12101 jnaneshwari exp the pantry food is pathetic they even cant eat also so plz carry necessary food while travelling or else opt for online food

Yeah in many train I got charging point in sleeper...its super deluxe train...it must have charging point in sleeper
It might be an odd old coach (pre 2007 era), but these days railways fix charging sockets to old coaches too.
