I was traveled in this train good thing is that reaches on time or before. bad things worst toilet, food on the sleeper. i made 6 journeys 5 in summer and one in the rainy season.in mansoon, it gets late because of Konkan.

Saw a statement in wikipedia(click here regarding this train as " It covers a distance of 2943 kilometres in each direction takes 41 hours 55 minutes towards Ernakulam and take 44 hours towards H.Nizamudin.(NOW 38 HRS AFTER 1 NOVEMBER 2013)". any relevance for this?

Red because it doesn't have any commercial halt but only technical halt.Secondly,the speed is more than fine and from July-Oct trains run as per Monsoon Schedule in KR sector where MPS is restricted to 85 kmph thus train delays for 2-3 hrs.

You are right takes 44 hours to cover distance from ERS to NZM even in non-monsoon schedule, average speed of 59 km/hr, certaintly very slow for Duronto.. In monsoon 59 km/hr is Okay..
Secondly, info. on Wikipedia is wrong, from Nov. 2011 it takes 44 hrs. to cover distance between ERS and NZM...
