venkat_vskp~ 6453 blog postsWhat kind of controlling by SCR BZA division. It arrived around 6:30 at BZA, now it reaches vskp by 2 am. 7 hrs 30 min? These specials stopping at BZA more than hr. People paying tatkal fare. Else add more slack
Very important train, but poor run. It is important on social levels but not commercially. Is it a loss making train?( Please don't think I am disgracing this train, I am just simply asking questions)
Last week reached 6 hrs late to VSKP. Just waste of time. It's always 3-4 hrs delayed. How you expect such train to get filled?
Well do check my imaginary trains of vskp tata with improved TT.
Earlier there is such TT. But ECoR spoiled by allowing at day time. Hope they change it back. Today's trains also from vskp delayed 3 hrs.

Looks Ike you travel in sabari express daily to Kerala that you are he'll boubt to change in timings. This train is running with same timings from past 25 years and and many travellers enroute are used to timings and change will effect them. It's ridiculous to say put a proposal to SR to serve TN and its upto railways to identify routes and serve people otherwise people select their travel options.
I am in vizag and have written my concerns here when YPR HWH and Mail timings have changed as Vskp is biggest loser of convenient overnight trains to Howarh and both train have considerable quota. I oppose any change in daily trains timings which are running from past 10+ year.
Operational reasons also places a vital role in change of the train TT FYI. When The opposite zone shows 0% interest in taking it's PM, it's obviously the operating zone's work, since it's daily conversion the train was never independent. 1 year when NS HYB exp is extended till LPI sabari was operated by HYB with 4 rakes where the rake has the lay-over of 23hrs for PM and 12 hrs lay-over at TVC. Then the train was short terminated to SC to save one rake. Now ya it's the time to atleast set it's TT now with this new terminal.

They will run via SC also. What's the point not running via SC when many trains gets terminated at Charlapalli. Morning trains need to terminate at Charlapalli. Also bypass SC with stop at bharatnagar which starts from LPI and SBC Raj can be bypassed it has very less quota.
Yesterday this train was having 200+ berths vacant in 3AC class. And as usual delayed by +3 hrs. This train demand is decreasing due to delay, and day time scheduled run. Why no one is accountable, and not taking any action.

It doesn't touch tata but route is very similar, from Chaibasa to Khurda Road (for almost 8hrs) route is same. It might clash and this TT is made on the basis of comfort timing. Like deboarding at 8am is better than early 4am. And after summer holidays PURI-ANVT will run at its regular time
Whatever be the timings of this train, it should leave from Tatanagar on Saturday reaching Visakhapatnam on Sunday morning and return in the same present timings of 20816.
You mean to say that this train should be taken by SER. You are absolutely right, but for current situation this TT is fine I think, simply if departing it with extra time can help this train to recover some delays. Well I am also planning a TT of 20816 as well. I will share its link on this post.

The pitline will be decommissioned for double line work. For that, 13351/52 has also been proposed extension upto KCVL.
Can you please do me a favour and post one more RTI asking SWR what is the percentage of work completed on 2nd pitline at Vasco Da Gama and when is it targetted to be commissioned.
It's construction started in 2019 and since past one year works have been stopped. Catwalk or sidewalk whatever it is called is only partially constructed on one end.
