I am posting this question the second time. Is this the most late running Jan Shatabdi Express in India now?
We can raise the voice to SER and Rly board to get the attention towards the punctuality of this train.
Gondia Raigarh jan shatabdi used to continously run delayed by 4-5 hrs for around 1.5 years.
Now a days delay has reduced.

I had lodged complaint in Rail Madad for the late running of this train on date - 04/05/2024 as I had ticket for that date. They immediately closed the complaint with the following remarks - "Inconvenience is highly regretted. The train got delayed due to yard congestion at Howrah. However, all efforts are being made to run the train on time and reduce detention as much as possible. Indian Railway attempts to reach you safely and timely. Your precious time as well as feedback is valuable to us."

I have a feeling this train is deliberately being targetted since it serves a quite remote area post TATA.
Areas such as Chaibasa and Bara Jamdi are totally dependent on this train, if you exclude the Tata bound passengers. Absolutely shambolic behavior by SER.

Offcourse this delays would add up in the Mumbai bound trains.

Each intercity premium train has 12 one way trips and occupancy depends on day and also direction. Kanpur Shatabdi has 14 ACC coaches which I'd equivalent to VB. The train runs to full occupancy from Kanpur to New Delhi on Monday morning and from Delhi to Kanpur on Saturday. Rest days the occupancy varies and for a 5hour journey the dep from NewDelhi is too early should be 1700-1730.
It will either start before the first Rajdhani departs[ it used to be DBRT Rajdhani at 1605 hrs back in the day] or after PNBE Rajdhani at 1715 hrs. It can hardly be sandwiched b/w them.
New Delhi Kanpur is fully occupied for today and also Lucknow Tejas and VB. It has total booking capacity of 986 and the next days 70% and 60% are occupied and will increase by the day of journey. So demand is there for all 3 trains.
What exactly do you mean by "Each intercity premium train has 12 one way trips"? Sorry for this, but I didn't understand what this count of 12 means in this context
Ideal time for CNB Shatabdi would be to depart the train just behind the Patna Tejas Rajdhani. A time interval of 1.5-2 hrs between LJN Tejas and CNB Shatabdi would be great for the occupancy of both trains.

This is going to be one of the most challenging projects in IR history.
NZM will get South Direction Trains, DEE will get North Direction Trains, DEC will get West Direction Trains, ANVT will get East Direction Trains. Trains once shifted out of NDLS will never return again in future eve after Redevelopment is completed. NDLS will stay hub of just Premier trains. Okhla-DSJ-Adarshnagar Line will be used by passing trains avoiding New Delhi.
ANVT is fine but I really doubt whether NZM & DEC has capacity to hold all these trains.
