The slack of 1 hr is given in MGS-Gaya because of the 4 Rajdhani's Gang - Ranchi Rajdhani/GR, Howrah, Sealdah & Bhubaneswar Rajdhani.
MGS arrival 00:20 - departure 00:30 (as per #newTT of 12398).
1st Ranchi Rajdhani/GR leaves MGS at 1:28. Last BBS Rajdhani leaves MGS at 2:05 and reaches Gaya at 4:18.

good though of Railway in order to improve Punctuality of 12398/NDLS-Gaya. With this new TT 12397/Gaya-NDLS will not be re-scheduling from Gaya and will reach NDLS by 5 - 7:30 - 8:30 max. So no more scheduling from 01-October-2015.

And yes it will be re-scheduling from New Delhi in Winter season (December-January) due to Fog. It was re-scheduling with old TT (2:05) as well in winter. Even Rajdhanis get re-scheduled in winter.

Still no one can trust on Punctuality of any train which passes Allahabad as:
"Allahabad topped the list with just 25 per cent train punctuality, which means 75 per cent of the trains passing through this division are always late".
