That's not CR's planning it's actually Cidco 's planning.... Cidco who mainly built and develop navi mumbai city.... And not only Kharghar all the stations on Trans harbour line and Beyond Juinagar all station have that extra space for Future Quadrupling.... Most of station have extra space for Quadrupling some stations k pass already builted platforms hai

nmmc and cidco ne already transharbour line ko future k hisab se design kiya tha jbki mumbai suburbs ko future k hisab se design na krne ki vjh se aaj land issues ka bada problem mumbai cr wr ke saamne pahad jaise khada h

यह भी मान लें कि ये दो अतिरिक्त प्लेटफार्म शायद भविष्य मे चार पटरियों के दृष्टिकोण से बनाए हों। मगर यह अब सिरे चढने वाली बात नही लग रही । चूंकि सड़क से एक तेज वैकल्पिक मार्ग लोगों को मिल गया है।
