Why this train is categorised as Superfast ? It has very low average speed. Also train no. doesn't indicate that it is a superfast train.
Maybe because it is the fastest train on this route and ,takes less time , bypassing Mangaluru via padil bypass.

Secret way to silently loot passengers. SWR consider it as partial Superfast between Bengaluru - Hassan (16595) & Hassan - Yesvantpur (16596). If you travel only within that section or your journey passes through that section, they will charge you superfast fares. But if you travel fully out of that section, say if you travel from Sakleshpur to Karwar or any intermediate stations towards Karwar in 16595 or travel anywhere between Karwar to Hassan (16596) you will be charged Normal Express charges. If you go atleast one station next after Hassan, say Channaraypatna , you ticket will carry Superfast charge.
This system of SF surcharge is collected in many trains Kacheguda MYS express between Bengaluru and MYS, Visakhapatnam Guntur between Vijayawada and Guntur though end to end avg speed is less then 55kmph. Its shoul be implemented to the end station or section station too. For ex KCG SBC is SF which is ok and KCG MYS or Kengeri , YNK MYS should also be non SF.

They are intentionally scrapping old ER owned LHB rakes of Farakka Express which is causing it to reschedule by 7-8 hours everyday. Why can't they remove the ER sticker & paste NF stickers instead of scrapping?

FYI... Farakka was originally train if BSB-DNR... from their it gets extend to mldt so just chill

Wahi toh bt ye mldt wale apna train maan baithe hai.... Yhi attachment BSB, DNR wale ko hota to malda jati hi nhi ye train
Ye train hamare liye emotion h , extended train hone ke bad bhi sab ki dilo me raj karta tha 33 years se. Malda walo ki 1st choice thi
1st choice isliye thi qki only option v thi... BP MAIL Assam ki train thi aur baaki trains weekly thi ek yahi daily thi malda ke loye
