Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2538 blog postsIts so stupid for SCR to make Ajanta and KCG MYS depart from KCG in adjacent PF ! Ajanta leaves from PF 5 of KCG whereas KCG MYS leaves from PF 4 of KCG. I mean seriously ! They dont even use flip board concept - passengers are getting confused. One timing need to be changed in such a way that one arrives after the first one leaves the PF when they come from Yard.

Saw a youtube video RFing where they got shunted in 4 and 5 back to back without one leaving !

Earlier 3 was used by Venkatadri/kcg mys.Just after departure of kcg mys, venkatadri used to shunt into 3.But now venkatadri is coming from SC side with pre-attached loco(mostly BZA P4) in to 2 and kcg mys is from 3 and Ajanta from 5 when I travelled
For that day it would have been such. However this isn't usual.
Yes Mysore and Venkatadri are parked either at CVB / Bolarum. they come up with same loco. Whenever I go to Malkajgiri I see them 1st the Mysore at 6pm and later Venkatadri at 6.30pm. hence you are seeing them coming from SC side. Ideally it's STPD-B 😝

On the remaining 4 days an Exp train should be run via VZM, TIG,BLGR.

No If you want train then go for new train please don't target Hirakud SF Express
Visakhapatnam public doesn't need this train nor sought extention, it was dumped by ECOR BBS when people of Berhampur and Srikakulam sought a connection to Delhi by extending Puri New Delhi SF express. If you want it to be daily then remaining 4 days can be run from Bhubaneswar.
Hirakud Exp 20807/ 20808 will continue to run via BAM, BBS, ANGL for 3 days. On the remaining days another Exp train should be run via VZM TIG, BLGR .
On introduction of another train via TIG, BLGR for 4 days the 3 day train via BBS should be made free of RAKE REVERSAL at TLHR and SBP.

It is a SF train between Kacheguda and Benguluru as it still maintains 55kmph, but non SF only in Benguluru Mysuru section for local passengers. As it's extended and timings to Mys are relaxed for all trains to free PFs and Stabling lines in SBC they will collect SF surcharge as 85% get down at Benguluru and they don't want to lose that revenue. Ideally speaking the stations in extended portion should not be collected SF surcharge from Kacheguda too as avg speed is less then 55kmph.
