West Bengal gave 18 MPs last time (in 2019) to ruling party, highest in its political history... more than many BJP ruled states. If someone had told Bengal could give double digit seats in Parliament to BJP 20-30 years ago, AdvaniJi or VajpayeeJi would have had a heart attack (in happiness of course)!!!

(Most ignorant people out there have Zero knowledge of Bengal's political history - either 20-30 years ago they weren't even born, or were too busy watching Shaktimaan or Pogo channel on TV... But suddenly today they think they've
...

got the right to speak on Bengal and its politics! LOL 😆)

But despite giving so many MPs, What did Bengal get in return in all these years? Thenga! Or Babaji Ka Thullu! Same thing is going to happen in Odisha now, double engine sarkar only in name, within few years Odisha people shall realize the grave mistake they've done by ousting perhaps India's best CM. Odisha will continue to suffer, because all fruits reserved for Maaro Gujarat, MP and Rajasthan (now after 2024 elections even UP will have to face the brunt). These Dhokla Fafda Gathiya Bhujiya company are ruling the country as if the whole country is their grandfather's property.

Am no TMC/Communist supporter (Bengal suffers today because of these useless parties, no doubt), but there's a saying: Known Devil is better than Unknown Friend... what else did you expect people to vote for? Even the local BJP unit in Bengal is useless, have no vision for the state. The man responsible for BJP's rise in Bengal (Mr. Dilip Ghosh, a RSS Proponent) has been sidelined by his own party - which is now more interested in serving turncoats/PaltuRaams... hence the result. Remember, Bengal people are severely angry and frustrated with BJP's tactics and policies.

You do anymore damage to Bengal's existing infrastructure (let alone adding anything new) - like degrading the train facilities, rest assured the entire party will be wiped out from the face Bengal, and these Gujju Mero company themselves will be responsive for this downfall. At least we gave you a chance, unlike some South Indian states, learn to be grateful instead of showing arrogance. The Arrogant will always be shown their place, sooner or later.

Correct. In 2019. WB gave 18 MP but except 3 or 4 all were useless. Did nothing for bengal only bhasanwazi. This 2024 election out of 12 MPs, 2 MP won by few margin, so better those 2 MPs work now or else will not win again in next election.
Bad luck for Orissa, they lost a gem CM. Against power from all sides , gem could not fight and lost. From all ends BJP used power and money in Orissa, be it Governor of Orissa (Ex CM of jharkhand was placed), Rashtrapati from Orissa, Railway minister, Education minister, many other ministers and leaders in Delhi from Orissa, all powers used.
...

Orissa is a rich state in minerals and coal assets.

Well few of those 18 MPs and newly elected MLAs returned to/joined TMC after the assembly elections loss. Even out of the current MPs there are talks of a few of them going back to TMC. The thing is these politicians are as useless as they get, with their only interest being in filling their coffers. Ar ei sob bolle kono labh nei, sobai bolte pare kono state er topic e. Apnar full on hatred dekha jacche Gujarat er jonno, just because of the two top most leaders of BJP belong to Gujarat.

With all due respect sir, I believe you appear to be exaggerating the facts a bit. Granted few MLAs returned back to their home ground of Tolamool to serve only and only their personal benefits, but just 2 of the 18 MPs switched sides; not to forget one of them - the then Barrackpore MP - the Kingpin of all Lollypop Lagelu GoondaRaj in Bengal had been back to BJP (and thanfully lost badly this time around). Rest have all remained with BJP only.

But it doesn't matter really - even 16-17
...
or now 12 MPs isn't a bad score either! For example, say even a neighbouring Jharkhand had (and even now has) far lower number of BJP MPs when compared to Bengal - and not to forget unlike Bengal, Jharkhand had long period of BJP rule at their State Govt previously - but able to score only 12 seats in 2019 elections, and now only 8 in this year's (2024) general elections.

Despite all this, Jharkhand has always reaped much better fruits in terms of Railways in the last several years. Two back2back separate daily trains to Kerala (zero such services from Bengal despite long pending demand), exponential Railway growth of the Jasidih - Dumka - Banka - Godda region (despite being under two separate Railway Divisions - both Headquartered in Bengal), multiple new services to various parts of the country - including extensions from ASN, among many more such services. I am not saying these things should not be done - Jharkhand continues to be an impoverished state to this date despite its rich mineral and industrial background, and this state deserves much more, no doubt (and not just in Railways). The main purpose of separation from Bihar even after over 2 decades has yet to be served - the rights of the sons and daughters of the soil - the Aadivaasis / the tribal people - whose contribution to India's Independence movement is unparalled, or even the rights of its bustling industrial cities are still far from being fulfilled.

All I am saying is that let Jharkhand receive what it truly deserves, but what wrong did Bengal do? In case even the most educated and learned people out here forgot, the state despite all adversities and challenges still continues to be among the country's top 5-6 states in terms of GDP or Tax contribution. Question is - is Bengal receiving back enough in return of the Tax contributed?

Everywhere you go across Bengal - BJP has emerged as the major option for the citizens of WB to voice their concerns. In most Urban and Suburban seats in South Bengal, BJP emerged as the close second/Runners-up, something unimaginable even a decade ago! People have chosen BJP to be their voice over the communists, who have been wiped out from the state already! And what about North Bengal? Look at the vote percentage in North Bengal in favour of the BJP - almost all seats in their pocket! My question is, what has Bengal, and particularly North Bengal received in all these years? How many new trains/services have we seen North Bengal getting in the last 10 years? Isn't North Bengal of paramount importance for the country's Defence, Trade and Tourism sectors? Has it received enough in return? Why is North Bengal still dependent on Assam and Kolkata for train connectivity across the country?

If you can answer these questions - which is besically the sentiments of the general public, I am sure you'll know why I reached my notions and conclusions, as visible in my previous comment. And please, please don't bother to utter irrelevant commentary like Jharkhand has one DubeyJi because of whom Jharkhand is reaping all benefits in Railways... who has asked BJP Bengal MPs to sit quietly gaping at the walls in the Parliament? Is this why the voters of Bengal entrusted them with their invaluable mandate - to stare and gape at the walls and roofs during Parliamentary sessions?
