The tender includes cost of Civil and structural works, track laying, signalling and Electrification is included for 42km and the total cost is Rs 350cr. The last date of tender submission is 29th Nov 2024. So the actual work may start in April 2025 and completion of 30 months means can expect by April 2028.

But considering the kind of stressing the current Government is making on Hyderabad- Bangalore Industrial Corridor particularly Orvakal Node that too I think we need to pressurise our MLA and MP to fastrack this project and be given highest priority
Mahbub Nagar- Dhone takes 1800 crores approx which shouldn’t be a burdensome amount for Centre particularly when they are naming it is an industrial corridor

Every train, whether it’s a MEMU, Passenger, or Intercity is king as they play a crucial role in serving thousands of passengers and stations. For some groups, a specific MEMU might be more important than even a Rajdhani. It’s unfortunate that the term 'king' has gained such popularity within the railway community, but I have yet to find a more fitting alternative word to king, so I’ll use it for now.)

Jhusi to Prayagraj Jn doubling is about to complete, I believe it will be completed before Diwali, only major work left is CMP bridge, which itself is 90% done.
But I don't think we are going to see a major speedup, VB runs with priority in the 10km single line section itself and with winter season coming they might want to keep the time earned as slack, major speedup will be when either NCR makes the track 160kmph capable or NER makes the track 130kmph capable

When I passed through the Daraganj bridge, I noticed that the bridge above the river was nearly complete but the section of bridge AFTER the river was like only half complete and it needed a lot of work to be done.

No, most of the heavy work is done, Only land filling is left just before the bridge starts at Jhusi side and work is being rapidly done at Parade ground side of bridge in which they have started track laying as well. Yeah, the work has slowed down due to the flood
