Konkan railway route and interior of Tamilnadu beyond Chennai need to be exploited from Jharkhand and Bihar .... Not too many trains ....

Remodelling of PGTN station in progressing. A proposal for a new byepass line to handle trains from SRR side to PGTN - PLNI line too is in the offing. Almost certain that PLNI - Pollachi GC will be completed soon. But PGTN section will take more time.
