శ్రీకాకుళం, విజయనగరం, విశాఖపట్నం, ఏలూరు, విజయవాడ, గుంటూరు, మార్కాపురం, నంద్యాల మీదుగా గుంతకల్ రైల్వే జంక్షన్‌ను, కర్నూలు మీదుగా హైదరాబాద్‌ను కలిపే రైలు మార్గం దొనకొండలో ఉంది. ప్రస్తుతం విద్యుదీకరణకు దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే అధికారులు టెండర్లు పిలిచారు. నడికుడి-శ్రీకాళహస్తి రైలు మార్గం ప్రతిపాదన దశలో ఉంది. ఉత్తరాంధ్ర నుంచి తెలంగాణకు ఈ మార్గం ద్వారా రాకపోకలు సాగిస్తుంటారు. గుంటూరు నుంచి నంద్యాల వెళ్లే రాష్ట్ర రహదారి దొనకొండ సమీపంలో ఉంది. ఇటీవలే...

ogl mp requested ogl-donalkonda line to be laid since 1990 till now if that line is laid at that time then or some work in progress also would have been useful.
AM very Happy personally IF ongole (or) donakonda become a state capital.....ONGOLE-DONAKONDA is a very route old demand....
