Why IRCTC is not increasing there server capacity ( as there site always goes service unavailable during the peak hours of booking)
Wht was the motto of irctc to block the agents login during those periods? If there is motto is still un fullfilled than y ther are still going along with there decision? I think they should either increase there server capacity or must make some other alternatives to rectify the same.
IRCTC server is getting blocked even now, i think lots of agents are still making tkts thru persnol login.

What the shit irctc is doing ? Some one should come forward & must file a PIL/RTI against them regarding all these matters.

IRCTC and IR have never been fair to agents. It is a monopoly market, but they need to better the system more than what is currently the norms. No doubt.
For one It is been 20 months since i filed a TDR in irctc and the IR has not refunded about Rs 3000 for two 2AC tkts from Shahganj to LTT. The train was diverted and the two pax could not board the train. Ir is taking its own time to enquire till then teh oax had to face hardship and loss of money. Who is responsible. I sent 4 reminders and no further progress is acheived. This is Indian Railways.

IRCTC site, booking for 90th day is a pain in the a_s. No doubt there is lot of pressure. I agree with manoj that for Tatkal atleast the ID number field should be reintroduced, saving a lot of bogus/scam bookings.
Even the payment gateways should be increased.
Tatkal quota should be reduced. Ir is earning too much from this system.

When IR is earning too much from Tatkal then why should they reduce quota

If paying capacity is the logic, then why is the railways giving sleeper & 3A coaches rates so cheaply.
No one said that they are duping!
Tatkal Quota should be reduced because passengers who are planning well in advance gets WL, and are unable to decide, confirm and plan their holidays. By letting people book 2 days ahead you are depriving the people of their peace and keep them on tentative schedule. And teh poor is worse off in this system.

because some can pay more, and have PC & internet, they are able to book a Tatkal at higher rates while others have to wait in Queue and yet have no tickets. Hope you take this positively. No one is against Tatkal it is good system, but I have seen tatkal quota as high as 180 in some trains. This is not fair.

I am agree with you Sir. I am also an irctc agent and suffering a same case regarding tdr. I booked 2 ticket s by 4006/Lichhavi from BSB-MFP of 02/01/2010. In an open and run case the people of India knows that this train made accident between ETW-CNB on midnight of 01/01/2010 . So. the train running more than 20 hours late. The charts were done. And the party not willing to travel by this train and he said me to cancil the tickets. But due to chart preperation the tickets were not cancelled by me and I filed tdr(s). As near about 13 months gone but no payment by irctc. No reply regarding the tdrs. The party blamed me that I scam the money.
