some rfs say that wap7 is same as wap4 and oher rfs are criticised for demanding wap7 for their trains ...
I have several questions for them
.
why zones give wap7 to their premier trains , why not run rajdhani shat with wam4 or wap4 ??
.
...

why did railway board spent so much money to import the technique if their are no additional benefits ??
.
why did rdso spent so much time on developing wap7 and setting high speed trials .
.

yesterday i was tracking wap7 on ntes and the loco with icf rake load of 24 coaches took just 2 minutes to accelerate from 20 to 110 ,,, I have experienced this in reality as well ...
.
when they reach top speed then wap7 /wap4 / wam4 are equal but main thing is the time taken to reach that top speed also known as acceleration , a loco which takes 2 minute to reach top speed from start and a loco which takes 6 minutes to reach top speed from start
...
can never be same .
.
If given two options to a racer
- a car with acceleration of 3.5 sec and top speed 200kmph
- a car with acceleration of 7 sec and top speed 220 kmph
then racer will surely buy car of acc 3.5 sec .
