linish2000 1 blog postsThe Chart is prepared for 03rd March Journey for Island Express and my Waitlist Ticket Status is RS5 63 now for 2 passengers. What does this mean.. Is it a confirmed ticket? Can both travel with this ticket, is berth available? Please help
R S5 means ticket has remained in RAC- both you and your co-passenger can occupy berth No. 63 which is a Side lower berth- in case of some passenger not turning up such berth will get allotted to the RAC passenger
Yeah, rac means traveling on sharing basis. Both the passengers will be given side lower berth which needs to be shared for entire journey. If tte sees any vacant berth on board, he may allot one to rac passenger.
