A trip from the past in one of the awesome trains of IR. It was 10 th of Apr 2004. I was waiting at Jhansi Jn for my train to arrive, the announcement was made that the train is running late by 2 hrs. I knew that it was one of the most prioritised Trains of Indian Railways and it would cover its delay easily. As the time came nearer, I was excited. Finally the train came 2 h 30 mins late. I boarded and it departed after taking a 10 mins halt. And the journey began.

I came to know that Pantry was not functioning properly as the train departed late from New Delhi itself and none of the food was loaded and the provided only water and cup noodles. The train was moving swiftly and seldom halted. I didn't took food at Nagpur as I wasn't sure of the halt and I didn't spotted a vendor nearby. As soon the train reached Ballarshah, I got down and took two water bottles and had four dosas, as I knew nothing would be available in train and this is all I will get till morning. And the train departed after a halt of 10 mins at Ballarshah. I slept and when I woke up in the morning the train was crossing Avadi and overtook GT there. The train reached Chennai just 25 mins late..
