Sir when did you traveled by this train.
I have traveled between ASR to DLI on Sunday 2/3/14. Awesome experience.
This Train departed bang on time at 10:55 am from Platform no 5 (Normally it departs from 2 as per enquiry counter, but it got changed at last moment).
HWH WAP 4 was incharge on that day. Immediately after departure it gained speed....

Reached Beas by aprox 5-6min late (pl 2).... Reached Jalander City at : 12:03 pm late by 8min but departs at 12:15 pm (delayed in departure by 12 min)...... Thought this train will Blast at Jalander Cantt (like shan e punjab does) but it passed in a moderate speed..... (NDLS-ASR Shtabdi crossed just before Jalander Cantt)... till Phagwara speed was on slow side which resulted in further delay at Ludhiana by 20min....... But to my surprise it didn't looked back. Got real experience between LDH to UMB; departed from LDH at 1:18pm and reached UMB outer by 2:35pm (rocking speed.....). Entered PL no2: (UMB) at 3:05 om and departed at 3:25. No commercial stop as per schedule bw UMB & DLI and it proved it correct (No tech or unwanted halt at bw to 2 stn)... Train got late before KRK as some track maintenance work was going on. Took almost 45 min to pass KRK from UMB.
I have been traveling in this section since my childhood and always got a train stoppage at Panipat but as it doesn't have halt bw UMB & DLI. The reason why i am highlight PNP stn because it blasted this stn at the speed of 72 km/hr (checked in my GPS system). I was amazed by speed of this train. Despite getting slow near SAMALKA; SANDAL KALAN; BADLI (due to goods train). It reached DLI by 6:25 pm.....
Food quality is good. specially Break Pakora & Coffee. (Coffee priced at Rs 8 only).
Would love to travel again by the same train again.
