After buying a general ticket from KGP to BBS worth INR110 only , I was waiting with many passengers at the platform 1 of KGP. Very soon a VSKP WAM-4 brought in the rake of Digha-Puri SF Express. The crowd was waiting at the platform to board the train. Patronage seemed decent against the preview one may have after watching the berth availability figures. As soon as the train chugged into the station, me along with other passengers jumped into the 1st general coach after the SLR coach.Thanks to my young age, managed to occupy a side window seat. the passengers got seats along with voids between the seated people.
Just after skipping the Hijli station, the WAM-4 started roaring at high speeds. Now at Jaleswar, more passengers boarded and occupied the remaining voids between the passengers coming from KGP. The crowd grew at each of its halts resulting in passengers overflowing from the seats and occupying the floor space. Just after the crossing BLS, 2 friends started smoking cigarettes while they were lying over the overhead luggage space which angered the other passengers and made them douse the just lit cigarettes. Now this is what I say an ideal general journey. A decently crowded(I won't say overcrowded) coach and some chaos made my journey.
At BHC, we saw the empty stationary rake of HWH-BHC Baghajatin pgr.
At CTC, half of the coach became empty and at BBS most of the passengers deboarded leaving few ppl who were going towards Puri. Many passengers deboarding at BBS were going to SBC by Prasanti Express which was going to leave in the morning.
