The good old days of Deccan Queen... 1:- The Deccan Queen used to have a double deck car back in the 1980s, but people didn't like it so they took it off. 2:- In the 1980s, Deccan Queen used to pass through Karjat on its way to Bombay. In this picture, you can see the train behind a WCM/2 locomotive. 3:- This is a picture of Deccan Queen shortly after it started its service, with an EA/1 (WCP/1) locomotive. 4:- This pic is not in the right order, but it's a famous poster of Central Railway showing the Deccan Queen outside the Parsik Tunnel between Thana and Kalyan. The train is seen here behind a WCM/2 locomotive. 5:- This is the Deccan Queen on a viaduct on the Bhor Ghats, around 1970. In this picture, you can see the train behind a WCM/4 locomotive.
