If connectivity is in question, then GR is most neglected part. It has only Karnataka Exp. Even in that very less quota for GR. So this train should run via GR. I agree that SBC - GY is saturated. But GY - KCG or GY - SC is still very much free. Also, SC still has tremendous capacity to handle trains. If patronage is in question, SBC-GR-NDLS route will beat SBC-UBL-NDLS on any day. If we see 12627/28 and 12629/30 head-to-head, be it in patronage or time taken, 12627/28 stands tall.
