A small query: Does the 12867 HWH-PDY Superfast Exp. runs on(hauled) by a WAP-4(mainly SRC) uptill PDY?
Or is there a loco change (WDM-series) from KPD to PDY?
Since,the whole of route through VM till PDY is already electrified under 25kV A.C.

Friend,actually I /we(Family) are planning for a visit to the Eastern Part of TN(Tamil Nadu) ie. Coromandel Coast during the Puja Holidays (Sept~Oct 2014),starting from PDY to CAPE and returning back to MAS ,subsequently to HWH.
Was keen of knowing,that whether that section is run by an electric loco directly from HWH without any change.
Actually,while surfing through Google Earth upon PDY Railway Station,the minute thumbnail pics. showed a WAM-4 standing besides one of the platforms at the station.
