This came in today’s newspaper, and the brief points of which I’m posting FYI.

1) CR GM S.K.Sood was in Solapur on Tuesday for annual inspection of Solapur railway station and other facilities.
2) Remaning part of Pune-GR line will be doubled by 2015 end. This will help in starting more new trains.

Yes its good news but as per paper Wadi-Gulbarga and 40km from GR will be under new Gulbarga Division. But its jurisdiction cannot be till Hastavaram only max till Adoni or Mantralayam not beyond that.. Also there is no station by name hasan in this line ...
how will be the routes in GR divsn then? GR divsn will start from GR or HG?
As far as I know it will start either from Hotgi or after Dudani staion i.e kulali station ...
yes because of the RVNL has opened office at solapur to closely monitor the track doubling work and its a mammoth task ahead!
