SWR should introduce a replica of goa exp bt to kolkata...i.e vsg-hwh sf exp via pune-dd-bsl...
It should depart vsg in night at about 2100hr and arrive pune by next day morning 1100hr..and then leave for howrah..it can reach howrah by next day eve 1900hr...i know route is bit lengthy bt still would surely be helpful for many areas like vsg-pune,pune-hwh,vsg-hwh...

If that was the case,then whts the use of a goa exp when already a goa sampark kranti exp is running brilliantely...
Its not always everytime solution for end to end pax.....vasco people will be benefited as there's no direct train for them to ngp &chattisgarh...

Goa exp was introduced long before in 1987 and during that days there was no KR.
Goa SK is started recently in 2000s.

I m nt comparing these trains as per their date of introduction & history...bt instead regarding the route...when goa sk caters goa and delhi via short route the y wasting energy for running the long and circulating goa exp...??

History has got to do it all when goa exp was introduced via pune was the only route available to delhi so it was routed via pune.
Instead of vsg to hwh a train from vsg to hte on this route will be better for hwh better have kop hwh train.
