I wanted to know about rlwl and quotas for these trains : kerala exp, tvm rajdhani , new 22633, kerala sampark kranti.
My journey are usually end to end i.e tvc to ndls. What i wanna now is:
1. Are Quotas coach specific. I.e exp 2ac in kerala exp has only 27 seats or so for ndls to tvc, but it has 2 2 ac coaches. Does system alot all these tickets from same coach, like a1 or a2.

the allotment is random, though you can request the PRS clerk to book in a specific coach, but its upto the system if the seats are available in the requested coach then it may be allotted..
As Mr.Singh has said the allotment is completely random depending on the algorithm. you may request the PRS counter to do redo the booking before printing the ticket but it is upto the system to give your preferred berth while rebooking also. Suppose the PRS is a good guy with no rush he will try redoing 3-4 times but mostly under work pressure they will deny it.
yes, but the main thing is it should be available. and if its available then as soon as entering choice it will be allotted.
I will tell you one case. I booked two tickets for one journey, the next day I went to book another ticket for same train on same dater for my sister. I told him to do it nearby, he asked for the seat nos and to my surprise he booked a ticket in same cabin in same coach.
