Only window booking earning of AWB station is whooping RS 43,20,00,000/- per year but SCR is not providing required facilities.
Aurangabad is biggest station in NED division and also gives highest earning to SCR in the region. But still SCR is not providing facilities which AWB like station deserves. Following are the figures of AWB station.

passengers: 47,16,180. Daily: 13,100 (avg) Traveling passengers: about 30,000.
2.Per month ticket earning: RS 1,60,21,634/-
3. Per month Income from reservation booking, platform ticket, season tickets: RS 03,60,00,000/-
4. Per year income: RS 43,20,00,000/- (!!!!!! )
When AWB was included in category of Model station, RS 9 Corers was released. In that money 1st phase of station construction completed in which Food Plaza, New ticket Window, Yatri Guest house was provided. But work of lift and escalators is still pending. The old building was abandoned for 2nd and 3rd phase but still it was not yet demolished and 2nd phase is not yet started.
Negligence towards security.
AWB is one of the most sensitive stations in the country. But still SCR has fitted poor quality less powerful CCTV cameras which of no use. Being the summer and election season, the security of the passengers truly relies on GOD.
The Railway Pravasi Sena and Railway Upabhokta Samiti told to newspaper that they will demand the explanation from SCR authorities about negligence of AWB station.
