Jan 30th 2011: My sister took this train from Begumpet and had a worst experience. The train started at 5PM instead of 3.30pm .... and reached Pune at 4AM instead of 12 midnight .... there was no certainty and announcement abt this train in the station. It was such a pathetic experience that she has decided not to ever travel by this train in future... Its a shame to call this train a superfast. People are cheated in the name of superfast and time taken is more then the scheduled time. Its happening very frequently and i hope the train authority will act on this.

There is no mandatory change of loco in Pune. Please look at the halts in Pune. They have dropped from 15-20 minutes to just 5 minutes now. I travel the Hyd-Mumbai route frequently and there is no loco change.
5 minutes does not mean no loco change. Pune has been provided with slack time for many trains, hence with 5 minutes (actual 15 minutes) loco change can happen. One thing is there that if SC-LTT Duranto exp passengers want breakfast, then the train needs to be stopped at Pune.
Let us await the launch of this train first and see what are the technical halts. Loco change is not needed. Maybe for breakfast it could halt.
They have been announcing this train in the annual rail budget for the last two years. God knows what the problem is in starting this one. They may announce this in this years budget also...but i dont think they will start it.
