While checking at 11.42 am, the WL was 58 and quota seats available was 50.
Actually HO should go to CK.. If you go by the logical reasoning HO is emergency quota and Tatkal tickets are booked in case of emergency, so unused HO should have been used to clear CKWL..
Rest quotas could be used to clear GNWL..
Now for what d reason are railways issuing CKWL if it is not going to get cleared??

HO is not emergency quota, There has been cases when HO is applied over a month in advance.
ye naye rule se nuksan to railway ko hi jayega.thak jayenge sabhi ko paisa vapas de de kar.bahut lambe time nahi chalega.railway ko paise ki zarurat hai is me to rac 1 wala agar koi child hai to aadhe paise me seat de deni padegi.aur tatkal me bina koi benifit pure paise lekar tkt dete hai.aur dusri baat abhi ckwl clear hi nahi karna hai wl kyo dete hai?
Its not about revenue to railways.. Its difficult to get CK tickets as compared to booking tickets on ARP.. So, there should be some benefit to Tatkal Passengers, hopefully it will be rolled back.. Else last minute travellers have no option but to purchase flight tickets..
