i really pity people who want to travel to nagpur / chandrapur and take a ticket in dakshin on Thursdays...

once such incident happened some weeks back when i traveled from sc to ngp in 17005 and as usual went to see the chart ..saw as usual all waitings clear for ngp / bsp leg of journey . in the meantime , just next to this chart was dakshin's chart and one aged uncle was standing and wondering what to do next . He was frantically calling some1 and saying his ticket...

has ended up in waiting till nagpur. I stood there waiting for their talk to finish , as soon the conversation finished , i just peeped into uncles paper ticket and it was dakshin ticket . i asked him not to worry , he looked at me suspiciously . I said if u want to go to nagpur take 17005. He did not listen to me first saying , no train goes to nagpur ( not his fault , he might be unaware ) . Then i showed him the chart of the 17005 and he was surprised. Then took him to the current counter and got him a reserved sleeper ticket till nagpur. One should have looked at the joy at his face .

if only people are more aware of the trains being run , they would end up enjoying their journeys..

dakshin used to be a safe heaven to travel to ngp when it has gnwl , i have traveled in it in wl 500+ also which got confirmed , now POWL 20 also sometimes doesnt confirm...so if traveling on thrusdays blindly take a ticket in 17005 and not in dakshin !!!!
