You lose something to get something, It can't do to and fro to KGM (HDW could just have been possible but would've made it a li'l aggressive) in a single day after departing so late from NDLS. The only way this could've been possible is by making it overtake Awadh Assam. But hey! We're talking about specials of NR! They gotta crawl coz thats what defines them!
It is possible for it to return same day from kgm that is just 22 km ahead
